Supercross Champ Jeremy McGrath now Raising Vital Funds for Be The Match

The Road 2 Recovery Foundation is proud to support Kim McGrath and her fight against Leukemia by partnering with the non-profit organization, BE THE MATCH.org to help raise vital funds needed for costs associated with donor testing. All proceeds from the Road 2 Recovery/TEAM KIM eBay online auction will go directly to BE THE MATCH to offset costs and to help to continue to grow the national Be The Match Registry. In addition to Kim, thousands of Leukemia, Cancer, and Lymphoma patients rely on this registry to find marrow donors to save their lives. The costs are approximately $100 for each donor to be tested, so every $100 raised helps add another potential member to the registry. To date, the TEAM KIM efforts have already resulted in more than 2,150 people tested and potentially being becoming a life saving match!

The TEAM KIM goal is to raise $100,000 to help off-set the costs of tissue typing new registrants. Thanks to the donations made by many generous athletes, and companies, Road 2 Recovery has obtained some of the most sought-after, one-of-a-kind sports, motorsports, action sports items as well as exciting sports-related get-aways!
