Can i use a tube in this tire and the front version
Jose - July 12, 2018
Thank you for your inquiry Jose. Yes, you can use tubes, but the tires need to stay in their designated mounting locations. Front tires need to be run up front as they are designed for turning and braking. Rear tire need to be run in the rear as they are designed to handle power being applied and pushing through corners. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

My 02 Honda shadow 750 ace has spiked rims. It’s calling for a tuned tire. Can I use any tire with a tube as long as the size is right?
Tamara - April 1, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry Tamara. This is actually a very common question. The short answer is Yes. You can add a "tube" into any "tubeless tire" and mount on a tube type rim without issue. For the complete answer about this topic, see our "To Tube or Not To Tube" segment at the 4:02 mark in our Motorcycle Tire 101 video: https://youtu.be/CidSR5AM9Tg -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Is ther a tire thats wider that will fit 2006 shadow 750 aspired
Tod - June 24, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry Tod. Please see the 9:05 mark of this video https://youtu.be/CidSR5AM9Tg There we talk about how wide you can go... and the effects of doing so. Wider tires on these shadows, due to the narrow rim size, just tend to get taller not so much wider. A good metzler or Avon venom at 170 will fill the bill best for width and performance on the stock rim. I own a VTX1300 and I was able to install a 200, but it handled horribly... so I went back to the 170 until I could afford Rims. Eventually I modified my fender brackets, added RC Components rims and went to a 220 series tire. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

I've ran the 777 shinko is the 230 a better compound for more miles on a bagger like my 05 electra glide?
jack retter - August 8, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry Jack. Both the 777 HD and the 230 are "long mileage" tires... but If I were you I'd stick with the 777 HD for your Electra Glide. Reason being is that the 777 has a much higher load rating over the same size 230 tire. I would imagine that the lower load rating will cause the 230 to roll hotter down the road and will therefore potentially wear faster than the 777 on your Harley. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

will this tire fit my 94 electra glide ultra classic
roger brashear - June 13, 2018
Please double check to see what the sidewall of your existing tire say. If the rims have been replaced, you bike may require a different tire size than stock. Our records indicate that a stock 1994 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic - FLHTCU will take a Front Tire Size: 130/90-16 and a Rear Tire Size: 130/90-16. If your bike does in fact take this tire size, then Yes this Shinko 230 Tour Master Rear Tire Item #369-874172 ** Size:130/90-16 will fit and is In stock: Ready to ship. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Great tire so far
This seems to be a great tire. My wife has only put about 2500 miles on it so far. The tire shows absolutely no wear. It has a soft ride and grips very well. Even gravel doesn't seem to phase it.

Figured I'd try it
So far it's doing what a tire is supposed to do...holds air and goes round.I have less than a 100 miles on it so I don't know about the Tread Life yet if it doesn't last that long then the value will go down if I get more than 10K miles I'll be very happy. Low Price
