Motorcycle Helmet Wraps
Just like their motorcycle, many people like to customize their motorcycle helmetto give it some individuality and personalization. There are many ways to customize a motorcycle helmet. You can paint it or have it professionally painted but it takes a lot of time and money to paint a motorcycle helmet. Other options are to go with a motorcycle helmet skin, motorcycle helmet wrap, motorcycle helmet decal, or a motorcycle helmet sticker.
For many people customizing their motorcycle helmet with stickers, decals, or wraps makes sense because they are less expensive options, don’t require a lot of time, and are not permanent. You can always remove a wrap or helmet skin and peel stickers off to go back the helmet’s original look. With custom paint it will take a lot more work to remove all the paint—and the end result may not look as good as when you originally bought the helmet.
A helmet skin is a piece of stretchable material that you simply pull over the helmet. The skin protects the helmet’s original finish from flying debris, chips, and UV rays. When you don’t want skin any more simply pull it off. Helmet decals offer the ability to really personalize your helmet with your favorite brands, bands, or humorous quotes or whatever stickers you want. Like a helmet skin, stickers protect the helmet’s exterior. It will take some work but you can always remove the stickers and clean up the helmet with some soap and water or a cleaning solution to remove the sticky residue. A helmet wrap is a like a custom paint job in giant sticker form. Companies can design custom wraps with whatever colors or designs you want and then lay the wrap over your helmet’s entire surface. Depending on your helmet style most helmet wraps come as one piece. The wrap will protect your helmet’s original surface from the sun and flying pebbles. Just like a sticker, when you don’t want the wrap anymore or want to change designs you simply peel it off and clean up the helmet’s surface.
