First Look: 2019 Fly Racing MX Gear

For 2019 Fly Racing has unleashed a bevy of new motocross gear in the form of pants, jerseys, goggles, and gloves. In fact this is their biggest new product launch ever. There are a ton of options with lots of awesome graphics, colors, and technical features. When I say a lot, I mean A LOT!! There are 11 different MX kit families alone. And within each of those families almost all of them have multiple colorways to choose from. That's not even scraping the surface of the mx helmets, gloves or even their motocross boots.

For 2019 Fly Racing has broken their gear lines into three categories: Racewear, Offroad, and Riding Gear. The Racewear and Offroad gear are the more technical of the three while the Riding Gear offers great quality and sharp designs at a lower price point. The Racewear category has the most choices with seven families falling under this umbrella: Evolution DST, Lite Hydrogen, Kinetetic Shield, Kinetic Noiz, Kinetic Rockstar, Kinetic Mesh Era, and Kinetic Mesh Rockstar. For the offroad category there are two different setups, the Patrol XC and the Patrol gear. The riding gear section is comprised of the F-16 lineup which is available in a myriad of colors.

Some of the biggest news for Fly in 2019 is that all new women's motocross gear lineup. Instead of just taking their standard riding gear that's designed for men and splashing it with colors they think female riders would like, Fly enlisted national pro motocross racer April Zastrow to design the new Women's Lite Gear. Cut, sewn, and loaded with materials and features to cater to the needs and characteristics of a woman's body this gear is bound to be a hit with the ladies.

Other exciting new news for 2019 is the F2 Carbon helmet which is now outfitted with MIPS. Lightweight, excellent ventilation, extremely comfortable, high quality materials, and some of the latest technology in impact protection all at an extremely affordable price, the F2 Carbon with MIPS is going to be a favorite among many riders this season. The F2 Carbon without MIPS is still available as well.

Fly racing's Maverick boot has been extremely popular as an entry-level, low cost boot that delivers excellence on many levels. Well, for 2019 Fly has completely resigned the motocross boot from the sole up to make it even better. In addition to creating a fresh Maverick boot, they also built an all new boot called the FR5. Aimed at the more serious riders and racers the FR5 is a sharp looking mx boot that is packed with features.
