While the release date isn't set until July, the 2016 Yamaha YZ250F
is a vast improvement on previous models. Some of the newest
changes include a 270 millimeter front brake rotor to increase the
stopping power and total control. The pistons were also altered to
allow cooling, which will keep the engine stabilized. New
crankshafts and counterbalancer designs will help riders feel less
vibration while on the track or when going off-road.
With a pricetag of $8,590, this new and lightweight ride will give
plenty of riders the upgraded specs they were looking for in the
latest model.

The newest edition increased its overall launch control with a new
cam profile within the bike's engine. The 450F now includes some
newly redesigned frame shape features with a more dampening rear
shock spring.
The ride's Launch Control System utilizes the ECU calculations to
give more power and increase acceleration. The reverse engine
mounts and swingarm pivot section on the frame are also new, which
give more lateral rigidity. The 450F has lower footpegs, which will
decrease the instability that can occur with the driver's center of
gravity. Essentially, riders will be in a more well-balanced
position on the bike.
Much like the new 250F model, the 450F will also upgrade its front
brake rotor from 250mm to 270mm. The YZ450F has a price tag of
$8,590 as well.
