2013 AMA Motocross Schedule Released

The schedule for the 2013 season of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross
Championship was recently announced, and the AMA Pro Racing series
will be visiting two new locations during its 12-round motorsports season.
One of the new circuits will be Southeast's Bristol National at
Muddy Creek Raceway in Tennessee. The other new location has yet to
be announced but is rumored to be in Indiana, Cycle News reports.
Traditional stops at raceways like Unadilla, Thunder Valley, Budds
Creek and more fill out the remainder of the schedule.
"We are very proud to continually bring Pro Motocross to the most
iconic tracks in the sport's history, as well as new markets and
racing facilities, which both provide excellent fan amenities and
race circuits that will showcase the top riders in the world," said
Davey Coombs, president of MX Sports Pro Racing. "This series has
experienced tremendous growth in the past five years and we look
forward to the continued success."
The season will kick off on May 18 with the Hangtown Motocross
Classic in Sacramento, California, and conclude on August 24 at the
Lake Elsinore in Southern California. While this condenses the
series more so than in years past, it shouldn't affect much of the
racing, according to the news source.
