Yamaha Dealers Selling Indy GP Tickets

American racing fans are no doubt excited about the upcoming Indianapolis GP, which is scheduled to be held from August 26-28 at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). With the big MotoGP stars coming to town, fans will likely be scrambling to find tickets.

Yamaha has just made things a bit easier through a new promotion at participating dealers in the Midwest. Each dealer has been given a limited number of tickets to sell to their customers. The tickets are available as three-day passes, Friday-Saturday combos, or reserved seats for Race Day on Sunday.

Those who purchase their tickets from a Yamaha dealer may get a voucher that will allow them to ride their Yamaha bike on the IMS road course during the event. These vouchers are limited, however, so those interested should likely purchase as soon as possible.

Interested fans can also purchase tickets on imstix.com, which offers a bit more flexibility in ticket packaging. Friday tickets are $10, while Saturday will run spectators $20, with a $5 discount for purchasing both. Race Day general admission is $40, with reserved seating costing $70. A three-day pass is probably the best bargain at $60.
