Prior to the start of the 2011 FIM Motocross World Championship Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MX1 duo Clement Desalle and Steve Ramon were ferried away to an atmospheric and slightly alternative location for a special team Photo-Shoot.

The stunning images reveal a different side to the Belgian riders as they pose and have fun with their factory RM-Z450 machinery. The setting is a disused but preserved coalmine (Waterschei, Genk in Belgium); one of seven in the area closed down in the 1980s. This is the first time a motorcycle-related project has entered the premises.


The video has already generated a massive amount of attention and now here is the chance to digest the photographs in all their glory as the team prepare to fly out for the U.S. Grand Prix at Glen Helen, California this weekend.

'It is always fun to do something different like this," said Bulgarian Grand Prix winner Desalle. "The location was pretty cool and I think you can see this clearly in the photos."


Round three of the Grand Prix calendar will see Desalle chasing his second victory of the season under the San Bernardino sunshine and on home turf for the team's principal sponsor Rockstar Energy.
