Glen Helen Raceway To Host Dirt Fest 2011

Make sure your ATV tires are in order and strap on your helmet, because Dirt Fest 2011 is coming to Glen Helen Raceway in Southern California.

This three-day event lasts from March 25th through the 27th and features three full days of racing and exploring on some of the best trails around. The action kicks off on Friday with Glen Helen Ride Days, where mobs of ATV enthusiasts from far and wide will descend for their chance to test out one of the many trails at the 256-acre facility. These tracks were designed by off-roading legend Gary Jones, and there are routes for riders of all skill levels.

It'd be a great event even if all three days were just like Friday, but Saturday and Sunday continue to up the ante. Riders will have the chance to compete in specialty races like the mud bog and baja drive, or just continue to enjoy the open trails. It's also the perfect chance to pick up a new ATV helmet or accessory, as plenty of vendors plan on attending.

Finally, Sunday is the official race day with the Yamaha Dirt-X series giving racers and spectators alike something to look forward to.
