What is the load rating on the 140/70/18 rear tire?
Armen - May 6, 2018
Thank you for your inquiry Armen. The Load / Speed Rating on the 140/70-18 Shinko 777 H.D. tire is a 72H for both the Black Wall and White Wall versions. 72 stands for 783 lbs and H stands for 130 mph... but here in the U.S. it’s generally a good idea to observe the posted speed limits. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Can I use a rear tire as a front tire? I'm installing a wide front tire kit on my 2015 FLTRXS. It will require a 180/55R18 on a 18x5.5 rim.
Terence - January 24, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry Terence. No way! Rear tires and front tires are made very differently and it is not safe to swap them. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Craig - June 20, 2019

I have a metric cruiser with rear tuned tire 170/80/15. Is there a certain tire I buy? I see they all say tubeless. I’m a tad confused
Frank - March 29, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry Frank. Most 170/80-15 tire out there mount to tubeless wheels, and therefore most of the tires made are tubeless. If your rim requires a tube, install a tube and you will be golden. Take a look at the 4:02 mark of this video where this is explained: https://youtu.be/CidSR5AM9Tg -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

What’s 777 tire will fit on my 06 road glide front and rear‘s I am running 16 inch tires now?
Frank Arrigoni - September 25, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry Frank. From the factory, your 2006 Harley-Davidson FLTRI Road Glide came with front tire MT90-B16 and rear tire MU85-B16. These convert to 130/90-16 and 140/85-16 respectively. This Shinko 777 I would recommend is MU85B-16 Part Number: 369-874568 or if you have a little room to spare, you could go with 150/80-16 Part Number: 369-874597 -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

I currently have a 200/55/18 on , so will the 180/55/18 be a viable replacement?
Keith - August 6, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry Keith. 20mm is a pretty big jump. That will stretch the tire and will make your bike turn slow like a truck IF the rim is designed for a 200 series tire. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Will I need tubes for these? It will be going on a 1980 XS650G Special. Thank you!
Dustin Beck - July 12, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry Dustin. If your bike has tube type wheels, then yes... you will need a tube. If your bike has cast wheels that are tubeless then you won't need a tube. The tire itself can be ran either way. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Will 160/70-17 fit a 09 Dyna Low Rider?
MARIO Gutierrez - August 10, 2018
Thank you for your inquiry Mario. According to our records from the factory, 2009 Harley-Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider bikes came stock with a Front Tire size of 100/90-19 and a Rear Tire size of 160/70-B17. Please check the sidewalls of your current tires to ensure that your bike is running on stock wheels, not an aftermarket wheel of a different size. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Soft tire
Very soft rubber, but for ⅓ the price of a Dunlap I am happy. It has lost 2/32nds in the past 3,000 miles. Therefor it should last 10 thousand miles, about ⅔ reds of a michalin commander II. But ½ the price. So I'm good with. It seems to grip well

Soft tire
For ⅓ the price of a Dunlap, I am pleased. It's pretty soft in 100 + degrees roads, but I think it will grip fine. I bought it last month and have put 3,000 miles on it and only down 2/32nds. So it should last 10 thousand miles.

Decent tire for the money
So far so good. Deep tread pattern. Looks as though it will be a better tire than a Dunlop.
