Do you have this tire in size 120x70x18 ?
Dan - October 17, 2018
Thank you for your inquiry Dan. No, this Shinko 705 Series Dual Sport Front Tire is not made in a 18" for the front. 18" for the front is a rare front tire size. What bike are you putting these tires onto which runs a 120/70-18? Here is a DOT Dual Sport front tire in a 120/70-18: https://www.chapmoto.com/pirelli-scorpion-rally-str-radial-front-tire-parent-329-871-7150 and there is this tire if you are looking for a little less aggressive of a pattern: https://www.chapmoto.com/pirelli-mt60rs-dual-sport-radial-front-tire-parent-329-2402500 - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

with the shinko 705, which tire gives the most miles, Radial Or Bias
Gene - October 1, 2018
Thank you for your inquiry Gene. This will vary depending on the bike that the tires are being run on... Typically radial tires last longer as they flex more and run at cooler temperatures. However, bias tires often have thicker tread and therefore there is more rubber to last longer... In this case, we would recommend that you run the style of tire that your bike manufacturer calls for. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Does this tire fit Kawasaki KLX125 70/100 -19
J - October 8, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry J. No, this would not be a good tire for your KLX125 as the smallest 19" is Size: 110/80-19. Your 70/100 -19 converts to 2.5" and the 110 coverts to 3.75" and is way too wide for your bike. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Best Value
I started using the Shinko 705 tires because I ride to Big Bend National park twice a year and ride down some of the primitive, gravel roads in the park to get to the best hiking trails on my Triumph THRUXTON 900. The park is 600 miles of highway riding from Houston, Texas, so I need a tire that is competent on the road as well as giving me more stability off-road in the park. the Shinko performs well, giving good wet weather traction on the highway, and is more sure footed in the loose stuff. It's not a true, full on off-road tire, but it suits my needs with flying colors. On a particular trip back to Houston from Big Bend, we hit a heavy deluge of rain from San Antonio all the way into Houston, a distance of about 180 miles of non-stop rain. The Shinko never gave me a scary moment and was predictable during my maneuvers. I really like the aggressive look of the tread pattern and will continue to use these tires until something better comes along. But that will be a hard thing to find, as the Shinko is an extremely good value for the tire and it fills my needs. Kevin Slavens

So far so good
I like these tires a lot. I've only done a few rides with them so far but I have to say so far I'm impressed. They mounted easily and run smoothly for an dual sport tire. Good choice for a 80/20 KLR650. Good value.

Good all Around Tire for BMW 1200 GS
I am happy with these tires on my BMW 1200 GS. I have run with Anakee 3 and also Anakee Wilds. These provide the best of both in my opinion good on pavement and when air dropped to 26 psi work fine on the fire roads that I ride in S. Cal. Don't know about tread life yet I have 300 miles on them with 25 on dirt. These felt as good on dirt as my old Wild's that had about 25% tread left. I was hitting corners in Santa Monica Mountains hard and felt completely confident in grip/cornering. I did notice at first the tires fall into turns but got used to that fast.

Using on a CB500X Honda (most paved some gravel)
Not an expert on comparing tires as this is only one I have used on the CB500X. Does OK and for the money is good value. Last one is wearing funny like out of balance but I balanced when I I installed it.
