Michelin pilot power 2ct. 195/50/zr17
Love the tire, grips the road very strong when cornering, great on wet and dry pavements.....overall it's one of the best tires to buy for your bike...the downside is that you don't get longevity out of the tire because it does wear fast

This tire makes me feel very secure
I mostly ride on the freeway, but everyday I need to ride down a mountain road from my house to the freeway. This tire makes me feel very secure on my CB500F around turns going at average of 65-70 MPH up and down my road. I haven't come close to low-siding yet and I have even dragged my foot pegs (stock) as I have turned. The tire provides plenty of accelerating traction and I have never overpowered the tire on this bike. Given that I live in California, I do not experience much riding in the rain or snow, but the experience I do have I have not felt insecure on this tire, although I do tend to ride much more conservatively on rainy days. After about 7,000 miles I have noticed that the tire has flattened out, which I initially thought would have lasted a bit longer (my thoughts were at least 10,000 miles), but I commute about 40 miles a day on the freeway, so that is probably the main factor for the tire flattening out. This is much longer than the stock tire I had when I bought the bike (~4,000 miles). Overall I am happy with the tire and I will be purchasing it again.

Great performing tire
I have been riding the pilot 2 for 4 years now on my Fz1. Tire is great summer winter and on wet roads. I have been riding this tire with a tire plug for around 10k miles and1k miles ago picked up another screw so now I have 2 plugs. I do not ride distance trips now due to not wanting to run higher speeds above 75 with the plugs. I figure I best replace the rear plugged tire instead of pushing my luck.

Pros: Good traction cornering
Cons: Hydroplaning 1 water

Amazing Tires
I ride all year around in the northwest and I recommend these tires to everyone I know. I can trust these tires in temperatures below 40 degrees. I ride really hard so I burn these tires up in about 8k - 10k miles. But overall I would use these on the track to the street, heat to the snow, these are the only tires I've used in 7 years and I keep using them.

Pros: Traction
