Is this a tubeless tire or tube type?
Kevin Schumacher - May 11, 2018
Thank you for your inquiry Kevin. Most of the K60 Scout tires are Tubeless, but It really depends on tire size. Please see this list and at the end of each size you will see TT for Tube Type or TL for Tubeless. Please note that any Tubeless tire can be used on a Tube Type wheel, just install with a tube. Here is the K60 tire list:

Truly Great 50 50 Tire
I installed these on my KTM 1190 Adventure after destroying the original TKC 80 set in under 2000 miles. I do an annual 5 state trip focusing on ghost towns and gold mines and installed these just before the last trip. They were used on pavement at 100 plus MPH and off road for hard pack, graded, sand, and rocky. These are truly great 50 50 tires with exceptional wear. I got around 8000 miles from the first set. There was still plenty of wear left for a couple thousand more miles but not enough for the trip I was about to take. It is not quite as aggressive as a Motoz Tractionator Adventure but the trade off is unreal wear with good manners on and off road. I plan the next big trip on this bike will be to Alaska from Southern California and I will be running these tires for that trip.
