Great Tire : Mucho Mileage
This is the only tire that one can mount up here in CA... ride to the northern tip of Alaska AND BACK... without doing a tire change. I have run them on my BMW 2008 R1200GSA I rolled over 12k miles on the rear tire and nearly 16k miles on the front tire. Crazy mileage. The center strip on the rear tire and the uber hard rubber compound allow these tire to last a really really long time. I was skeptical... but after running them, I have to say the mileage claims are legit. I have just two gripes... they are really loud on the highway. But, they are knobby. All knobby tires make noise, but I thought these were louder, especially the front tire. In cold / wet weather under 50 degrees they seemed to be not-as-planted as other tires I have run. That being said, NO OTHER tire has ever lasted over 4k miles on my bike... and this one tripled that number! Overall, great tire for the money

Great All-Around Tire
The Heidenau K60 Scout tires have a nice aggressive look to them and also hold up to their look. On dirt they grip well when cornering as well as stopping on my Triumph Tiger 800 XC. Rocky terrain does not bother these tires, however they do have limits as to climbing in loose rock/soil with a heavier midsize adventure bike. They are fitted with enough tread to confidently take the dirt path off-highway, if not too technical or sandy otherwise you would have to switch to a "nobbier" tire. But they do transition back to highway with no problem. Sporty enough to lean into curves on the canyon and smooth enough for a long highway ride, as long as you don't mind the noticeable hum they make after you hit 45mph on tarmac. But the best part of these tires so far, besides the easy transition they make on different road conditions, is that the wear time on these tires are excellent. After 3500 miles these tires are still like new and have not began to flatten anywhere on the tread. I recommend these tires for dual sport riding for riders looking for a great all-around tire.

Truly Great 50 50 Tires
I installed these on my KTM 1190 Adventure after destroying the original TKC 80 set in under 2000 miles. I do an annual 5 state trip focusing on ghost towns and gold mines and installed these just before the last trip. They were used on pavement at 100 plus MPH and off road for hard pack, graded, sandy and rocky terrains. These are truly great 50 50 tires with exceptional wear. I got around 8000 miles from the first set. There was still plenty of wear left for a couple thousand more miles but not enough for the trip I was about to take. It is not quite as aggressive as a Motoz Tractionator Adventure but the trade off is unreal wear with good manners on and off road. I plan the next big trip on this bike will be to Alaska from Southern California and I will be running these tires for that trip no doubt about it.
