As Soon as I switched I felt more comfortable
The stock tire on My Ninja Zx-10R was a street/sport tire. Not for my style of riding As Soon as I switched I felt more comfortable. I like to ride street and often time commute and take long trips so a sport touring tire was definitely something I wanted. I've used the model before on my Fz-07 and was very happy when I switched to the t30r. I've never felt the bike wanting to slip out from under me like the rs10 stock tires felt. Also the longevity of the tire is great. This tire will still grip in the twisties but will also be good for commuting.

Commuting and Canyoning for Over 5 Years
I have been riding Bridgestone Battlax T30 tires on my motorcycles for commuting and canyon riding for over five years. I have ridden over 50,000 miles on T30's over the yeas and continue to wrack up mileage daily. These are great all around tires for general highway use. They will also hold predictable lines in spirited canyon runs. I use T30's in both dry and wet conditions and grip has never been an issue. Unless you hit a patch of oil or loose gravel, these tires stick. I get pretty good wear out of them, usually I will get between 4,000 - 5,000 miles out of a rear tire. This is highly dependent on how many times I hit the canyons on the weekends. I rely on T30's because they are a very good middle ground when trying to keep replacement cost reasonable without sacrificing too much performance.

Best Sport-Touring Tires You Can Buy
I have over 10k miles on a set of T30 Evo's. For the price (Bridgestone typically offers rebates) I believe this is one of the best sport-touring tires you can buy right now. The tire's neutral profile makes slow-speed-turn-in very predictable and controlled (which is excellent on a top heavy ADV styled bike). In the dry, it excels when pushed at the limit and its stiff carcass provides excellent road feel. While there are better wet-weather tires out there (cough Michelin cough) this sport-tourer will still get you through some heavy rainfall just fine but without the confidence and sure-footedness of a certain competitor. If you only stick to the road and see little rainfall, I simply cannot recommend a better performing tire for the price. Note: at 7k miles I swapped my rear for a new T30 Evo as it was at the wear-bars. The front had more than 50% wear at 7k miles so I am expecting 14k miles on 1 front and 2 rears on a heavy ADV bike. YMMV.

Best ST tire ever
This is my favorite street tire. They are a huge improvement to the already excellent BT023. The last a long time and have plenty street grip wet or dry. If you don't do track days really sporty tires just waste your money IMHO. I've used several sets of T30s on my 2014 Ninja 1000 and this set is going on my new 2016 FZ09. Wait until they are on sale and buy some. You will love them.
