Fox Racing's New Split Decisions Video Is Hauntingly Beautiful

Fox Racing's new promo video dubbed Split Decisions is
probably one of the most well thought out and best produced MX
advertisements to come out in a very long time. From the haunting
backing track to the precise slow motion cuts switching up
multi-time Supercross and Motocross champion Ryan Dungey's riding
gear between Fox's 2020 FlexAir and
360 Racewear lines, the video immediately draws you in and
mesmerizes you.
The video has an ethereal vibe to it as you watch Dungey glide
across a set of whoops. By slowing the action way down it turns
what's typically an extremely fast-paced and jolting scene into a
beautifully smooth and hypnotic sequence. The backing sounds track
of Timber Timber's Run from Me with its eerie lyrics has
been mixed perfectly to coincide with the various cuts in the video
which gives the overall video a dreamlike feel.
The ultimate goal of the video however, is to showcase the difference between Fox Racing's redesigned FlexAir and 360 Racewear lines. Which, between hanging on every word of the lyrics and trying to figure exactly what kind of black magic videography they used to create the clip I ended up watching the video several times before finally focusing on the overlaid text that was incorporated into the vide. The gist between the two redesigned MX gear lines is that the FlexAir line has been revamped to deliver the utmost in breathability and mobility while the 360 gear has been improved to offer exceptional durability and to withstand the rigors of dirt bike riding.
