Obviously they all can't be winners but of the 21 tires and five different challenges, each tire did have its moment of shine. And this can be really important when tire shopping, because as stated not everyone wants or needs the best overall tire, some people just want the tire that's best for them.



So without further ado, here is the breakdown on the Kenda K3201 Mastodon HT:

The Mastodon HT pulls like an elephant, it just digs in and keeps trudging along as evidenced by its second place finish in the sled pull. For as tough as a tugger it is this tire is able to put things to a halt rather quickly in loamy downhill conditions--good to know if a massive bear or elephant wanders into your path. It's not the best at high speed straightaway stops or in the mud, but its not the worst either, falling right in the middle in both these tests.
