When the rains came
on Saturday afternoon, most feared a muddy 2018 6 Hours of Glen
Helen. Fortunately, clear skies on Sunday allowed for nearly
perfect conditions. Chaparral Motorsports, Precision Concepts,
Kawasaki riders Blayne Thompson and Justin Seeds paired up to
enter the event. Each rider would take about an hour stint on the
bike, with Blayne starting the race. Thompson got off to the
perfect start for the duo, taking the holeshot. From there, the
pair had a flawless ride, clicking off fast laps as the track
improved throughout the day. In the end, Thompson and Seeds took a
comfortable victory, gaining valuable seat time and testing data in
the process.
