Yamaha Factory Supercrosser Cooper Webb Is Setting Sail For Victory This Saturday In Tampa

Round 8 of the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship is this Saturday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, and Monster Energy/Yamaha Factory Racing's Cooper Webb (#2) has fire in his belly and is ready to race his YZ450F to glory in Buccaneers Land.

"I'm really excited to head to The Sunshine State this weekend where I'm determined to keep improving on my results," Cooper commented. "My fitness and racecraft have been coming around lately since my preseason injury and, in return, my confidence has also been rising. I'm looking forward to keeping the positive vibes rolling and having a breakout ride this weekend!"

Unfortunately, Cooper's teammate Justin Barcia (#51) has been ruled out of this weekend's Tampa Supercross due to the broken hand that he suffered during Heat Race 1 in Arlington last Saturday night. Justin had surgery on Monday, and he is already on the mend. Look for JB51 to return to action after he completes his rehab.
