Championship Wrap Up

Four U.S. championships were decided this past weekend, and Dunlop
would like to congratulate all the champions.
American Flat Track
Jared Mees pulled off a big win with a flawless ride at the
American Flat Track final in Perris, California, to win the Grand
National Championship on his factory Indian Scout. In winning the
race and the 2017 title, Mees broke the single-season podium record
with 17 top three finishes, including ten wins. Kolby Carlile
grabbed the 2017 AFT Singles number one plate at Perris with eight
podium finishes in the season.
Grand National Cross Country (GNCC)
The
penultimate round of the 2017 GNCC series in St. Clairsville, Ohio,
this past weekend saw a familiar face top the podium; Kailub
Russell overcame challenges and a hard crash to win the race and
his fifth consecutive GNCC championship. Additionally, the win put
Russell in a tie with the legendary Scott Summers on the all-time
GNCC win list.
WORCS
In
the final race of the season in Adelanto, California, Gary
Sutherlin took a fifth place finish, which allowed him to lock up
his second WORCS Pro championship. This season, Sutherlin finished
on the podium seven times, won twice and took the title with 21
points to spare.
