This & That: Suzuki Van Van 200

It seems like every motorcycle manufacturer is jumping on the scrambler band wagon and Suzuki didn't want to miss the ride. At least with their version, the VanVan 200, Suzuki has created something that looks unique and a blast to ride. Just shy of 300 pounds and powered by a spry 199cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single cylinder engine the VanVan is extremely lightweight for a street bike and the mill offers plenty of punch to help you zigzag in and out of traffic or putt down the highway at a steady clip.

While it may have minimalist looks, the VanVan is outfitted with everything you'd expect from a modern motorcycle such as push-button start, reliable electronic fuel injection, and a smooth shifting five-speed transmission. Sporting spoked wheels with chunky, slightly knobbed tires, the VanVan can handle a bit of offroading and beach time shenanigans as easily as it can run you down to the liquor store for a six pack. Best of all, with its retro looks and spacious seat you're bound to find an admirer along your travels that wants to hop on for a ride.

Little Sipper
Slim shaped 1.7 gal. (6.5L) fuel tank is low and out of the way when riding while providing great range.

Chunky Rollers
The 18" 130/80 front balloon tire and extra-wide 14" 180/80 rear balloon tire enhances the VanVan's classic retro look and adds to its unique character.

Handles the Bumps
The VanVan is outfitted with widely spaced, 33mm telescopic frontend and a single rear shock absorber with 136mm of wheel travel for supple handling performance

Two, Much Fun
The wide, spacious, and generously cushioned seat has a low 30.3" seat height that delivers a comfortable experience for both the rider and passenger.
