High Interest At U.S. Bank Stadium As Yamaha Supercrossers Reed & Webb Race In Minnesota
Cypress, CA -
February 16, 2017 - This
Saturday, the Monster Energy Supercross series heads north to
Minneapolis, MN, for Round Seven. Chad Reed and Cooper Webb will be
ready to throw down fast laps aboard their Monster
Energy/Yamalube/Chaparral/Yamaha Financial Services/Yamaha
Factory Racing Team
YZ450F machines inside the brand-new U.S. Bank Stadium.
Doors open at Noon for practice and qualifying, opening ceremonies
begin at 7 PM, and racing gets under way at 7:30 PM. The event will
be broadcast on FS1 beginning at 10 PM Eastern Time.
"I'm
excited to get to visit, and race in, another new stadium!" Chad
commented. "The dirt in Minnesota is usually really good. The track
design looks to be another one that will be start-position
dominant. I'm aiming to be back at 100% and, as always, working on
a solution to help me on my starts."
Cooper said, "I can't wait for Minneapolis. I feel like I'm really
starting to put the pieces together, and I'm building confidence
every weekend. We had some things happen in Dallas that were out of
our control, but my speed and the bike felt great. I'm looking
forward to some redemption this coming weekend!"
