Boots[/mageProductLink]. These boots are the lightest of the three
coming in at just under 3.5 lbs (size 13), and come up the bottom
of the calf. They are constructed of a split grain leather and
feature a DryTech waterproof membrane. The full zipper, found on
the inside of the foot, allows for easy on/off while the Velcro
zipper cover helps protect the zipper and keep water out. On the
front and back is heavy-duty waterproof textile in an accordion
pattern to provide full flex and ankle articulation. The Meteors
offer the most night time visibility with reflective piping running
up around the back of the heel and up the outside front of the
foot/shin. These boots offer pretty extreme soles compared to the
others with a tread pattern similar to a turf shoe. Both the left
and right boots feature a grippy rubber shift protector pad.

More of a street style boot, the [mageProductLink
sku="038-3403-0585" title=""]Overlord[/mageProductLink] boots fall
right in the middle weight-wise, weighing in at 4 lbs (size 13) and
also come up to the bottom of the calf. The boots are comprised of
a leather upper that is combined with overmolded mesh and
articulated textiles for optimum fit and flexibility. Protection is
provided by TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) shin, heel and ankle
plates. This is the only boot in this comparison that offers extra
toe protection with a replaceable toe scuff plate. You will also
find TPU strips over the inside toe area on left boot for easier
shift lever operation. The closure system is on inside of the foot.
While the boots look pretty technical, the soles may leave a lot to
be desired for some riders, as they are more of a sport bike-style
with minimal tread. What many may like about these boots however,
is that they are available in two other color ways, giving you the
option of something other than just another pair of black
motorcycle boots.

Le crème de la crème, the [mageProductLink sku="043-2141-x-38"
title=""]Sidi All Road boo[/mageProductLink]t is the premium piece
of footwear in this matchup. The mix of materials used to make up
this boot: Technomicro (synthetic leather material), Cordura, and
Gore-Tex make it extremely abrasion resistant and versatile for
just about any weather conditions. Get caught in a sweltering
Daytona downpour? No problem, the Gore-Tex inner membrane will keep
your feet dry and still allow them to stay cool and breathe. A
mid-calf boot, the All Road is the tallest and weighs the most of
the three at 4.6 pounds (size 13). Unlike the other two, the
closure system is on outside of the foot and is comprised of two
pull-over Velcro cinch tabs with integrated teeth for extra bite. A
large Velcro patch at the top makes for easy adjustability. The
soles are comprised of a dual compound and feature engineer
boot-style tread. The boots have carbon fiber-like accordion
sections on top of the foot as well as over the Achilles for easy
movement. There's also internal heel, ankle, and toe protection
along with Tehcnomicro toe shift/brake pads over the top of the
toes. A small perforated triangle above the Achilles is backed by
reflective material to help those behind you see you.
