No matter what style of riding you do or what terrain you choose,
your motorcycle exhaust system has a tremendous amount of
responsibility in providing your overall torque and horsepower
range. One company that continues to deliver new exhaust systems
before the rest is FMF Racing, which focuses
on improving riders' traction and power delivery.
FMF Put To The Test

FMF exhausts are put to the test before they hit the market and are
used in real-world racing and riding scenarios. Don Emler, who
started FMF in the garage of his California home, has always had
the same thoughts regarding his product and how it should work for
the rider, Parts Magazine reported.
"[FMF is always] improving power and ride-ability over a broad
throttle range, especially in the range where the machine is likely
to be operating the most," Emler said.
When developing their 2-stroke exhaust systems, the FMF team wanted
to ensure the size and shape didn't interfere with the clearance.
The way an exhaust fits a motorcycle is essential to how ergonomic
the equipment is with the bike and the rider. The FMF standard has
always been mass centralization and weight reduction in its exhaust
so riders don't have to worry about the product affecting the way
they ride.

Since Emler started working on dirt bike exhaust systems in his
garage nearly 40 years ago, the attention has shifted dramatically
toward traction and how to deliver power to the rider. FMF has
worked with professional riders to see which products help deliver
the most power and traction while on a dirt course or while
handling dirt ramps and jumps.
Even though FMF has been known in the professional circuit of dirt
bike racing, the family in charge has always prided themselves on
the fact that many amateur riders use FMF exhausts as well.
According to Parts Magazine, those who are not professionals in the
industry still enjoy FMF products and many people choose to spend a
good amount of money on FMF's equipment and parts. Simply put, FMF
products have an extremely high value for the amount riders will
spend on the exhaust and the company's products are not limited to
any specific style of rider.

If you're on a budget, you'll likely want to consider FMF's
stainless steel pipes as they give riders an economical way to
change out your stock exhaust. All FMF four-stroke headers are
designed to increase the overall performance of the bike and are an
easy way to tune alterations. There's a reason why so many people
continue to choose FMF over other exhaust systems. Customers simply
want a product that has longevity and one that will not break the
bank to invest in for an exhaust system.
Donny Emler, the son of Don Emler, explained FMF exhausts help
riders not only feel like they going faster, but their equipment
makes them actually quicker on the track, Parts Magazine reported.
The look and sound of the FMF exhausts still get a great reputation
for being a faster and higher performance system.
