Taddy Blazusiak Takes Home Gold At X-Games

is no stranger to motorsports success. The
Polish rider is one of the most consistent enduro competitors in
the world, and he proved it once again at the X-Games in Los
Angeles. He recently captured his second X-Games gold medal of the
year, winning the Men's EnduroX competition in an impressive
fashion.
Blazusiak quickly proved he was the one to beat in the race,
jumping out to a fast start to claim the hole-shot in his
qualifying round. He won easily, securing a spot in the main event
and placing himself as the favorite in the process. The dominance
continued through the start of the gold-medal race, as Blazusiakâ
was once again the fastest out of the gate and managed to fight off
the competitors for the win.
His main challenger was Mike Brown, and
the American rider put forth a valiant effort before suffering from
a slight mistake that ultimately caused him to fall behind. Brown
still took home the silver medal, finishing in front of Cody Webb, who
earned the bronze.
"I am feeling the best I've felt all year coming to this race,"
Blazusiak told Bikeland. "The track was really different than what
we're used to, but I was very prepared and I'm happy to leave with
a gold medal."
