The American Motorcyclist Association hosts a number of events each
year, but the recent running of the Vintage Motorcycle Days will
undoubtedly be one of the best of 2013. This annual event, held
from July 19 to 21 in Lexington, Ohio, celebrated the very best
classic cruisers and racing motorcycles with paraphernalia
displays, new bike showcases, a swap meet and more.
Tens of thousands of motorsports enthusiasts turned out
for the event to participate in races on vintage rides, browse
through on-site vendors, meet some racing legends and check out the
latest motorcycle gear.
Fans of Husqvarna, in particular, got quite a thrill, as the
manufacturer was present to share the history of the brand as well
as provide a peek into what the future holds.
"AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is not just the perfect blend of old
and new, it's also a wonderful example of the spirit of cooperation
that drives the like-minded folks who love motorcycles and the
people who ride them," said Rob Dingman, president of the AMA. "I
want to personally thank everybody who helped make the event a
success in 2013 ..."
