Weekend Warrior: 2013 Honda TRX250X

2013 Honda TRX250X: A Great Learning Machine, Inside And Out
Now that my kids are getting a little older, the time has come to
start looking around for their next ATV. They need a machine that
will give them enough power to satisfy their urge to test their
newest riding gear, and indulge
their growing curiosities, skills and adrenaline on the trails,
while also providing plenty of safety features and extras to keep
everyone happy. The Honda TRX250X
certainly meets these requirements, as the ATV offers a great blend
of power, balance and safety that should keep riders - and their
families - happy.
Engine And Frame

If you're looking for an ATV with power, the 2013 Honda TRX250X has
it. The air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine has a 229cc
displacement. The lightweight engine is rubber-mounted to reduce
vibrations and has a longitudinal layout to maximize power. Its
proximity to the rear wheels creates a streamlined power transfer
for a quicker response and easier handling.
Of course, the engine can't do much if you lack the tools to
operate it. That's why the TRX250X comes with Honda's SportsClutch,
a tool that allows riders to manually shift gears with a support
that works to prevent stalling. Riders who are still getting used
to the process can learn as they go from the handlebar-mounted
gear, which teaches where the clutch engagement points
are located.
The engine works perfectly with the frame of the ATV to provide
superior balance. A double-cradle steel chassis includes a
suspension with 5.9 inches of travel.
Final Thoughts - A Top Machine Inside And Out

As great as the engine and chassis are, some of the exterior
features work to further set the Honda ATV apart. Light aluminum
wheels, electric starting and low-maintenance gear allow riders to
get used to taking care of the machine, and it even comes with a
tool kit that encourages owners to become familiar with the ins and
outs of the vehicle. You'll also be able to learn the ropes of
riding thanks to the comfortable and spacious seat that has been
designed for extensive use and a range of different riding
styles.
While the 2013 Honda TRX250X could definitely serve as a learning
machine for new riders, it is also well suited for slightly older
motorists. Honda recommends the ATV for people ages 16 and over,
who will appreciate having the ability to take over any terrain,
and that age group will also like the excellent combination of
power and features. Ultimately, the 2013 Honda TRX250X provides a
great blend of power, balance and safety that sets it apart from
other ATVs.
