Vintage Rally Returns To The US This June

Fans of classic bikes have probably had June 8 and 9 circled on
their calendars for some time. That's the weekend when Vintage
Rally 2013, the annual celebration of the tradition of motorcycles
and motorsports, returns to the U.S. for the third
time.
The National Motorcycle Museum is hosting the event in Anamosa,
Iowa, this summer, and fans of the classic machines can enjoy all
of the perks that come along with this festival. This is the first
year the rally will be held in its new location, as the National
Motorcycle Museum recently changed venues to accommodate more than
400 classic bikes and numerous other displays.
A bike show will take up most of the first day of the rally, and
about 40 awards are set to be given out for the best restored bikes
and original machines. Everything from street bikes to scooters
will be recognized, so motorists who ride any kind of machine can
find something to enjoy and support during the festivities.
Also on the schedule for the weekend are a swap meet, a vintage
ride and some motorcycle gear
giveaways.
