Mike Lafferty Wins Alligator Enduro

Husaberg Factory rider Mike
Lafferty took the win at the 63rd running of the Alligator
Enduro held during Bike Week in Daytona Beach, FL.
Lafferty was the man to beat from the conclusion of the first
motorsports test which he
won in a dominating fashion. He continued to stretch his lead
through each of the five special tests to eventually take the win
over fellow Husaberg rider Nick
Fahringer.
Fahringer, had a great day, finishing second in each special test
and tying Lafferty in the final test where both rider's finished on
their minute to zero out the test. Meanwhile, Husaberg Factory
rider Russell
Bobbitt, struggled throughout the race fighting off a stomach
bug while also trying to make up time lost in the second test
section after he got turned around on the course and lost precious
time trying to find the correct path to finish the test.
"I am really excited to take the win here today," commented
Lafferty. "I always enjoy coming to this race and running in the
deep sand. Today's track was pretty fun in some sections and I am
glad to walk away with the win and am looking forward to returning
to the AMA National Enduro Series in two weeks."
