Alpinestars Releases Spring Collection

Alpinestars
will
celebrate 50 years of manufacturing motorcycle apparel
this year, and as part of the anniversary, the brand is releasing a
spring collection for riders to enjoy. The company, which began as
a producer of skiing and hiking boots, entered the world of
motorsports in 1965 with its first pair of motorcycle
boots and has been supplying dirt bike and street bike
gear ever since.
A sneak peek into the spring collection, which so far doesn't
include any anniversary gear, shows everything from
motorcycle jackets to waterproof shoes and backpacks.
Most of the adventure gear was made with materials that are
waterproof and breathable, creating a comfortable riding experience
for all.
Some of the jackets that were previewed include an [mageProductLink

Touring Jacket"]Andes Drystar Jacket[/mageProductLink] and
[mageProductLink sku="020-2810-2282" title="Alpinestars Jaws
Perforated Leather Sportbike Jacket"]Jaws Leather
Jacket[/mageProductLink]. The Andes is made with special features
like zippered shoulder air intakes and back exhaust vents aimed at
personal climate control, while the Jaws is the first of
Alpinestar's leather jackets to be colored green. Previously, the
dye needed to achieve this hue compromised the material, but
Alpinestars worked out a way to include the color and maintain the
integrity and strength of the apparel.
More details about other accessories should be
released in the near future, and riders will have a wide variety of
top clothing and safety gear to choose from for all types of
riding, from adventure touring to competition sportbike racing.
