Vintage Motorcycle Show Returning In 2013

The American Motorcycle Association (AMA) has announced the dates
for the 2013 version of its annual celebration of classic bikes.
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days will be held from July 19 to 21 in
Lexington, Ohio.
The vintage show features much more than just classic bikes and
street bike gear. It
also honors those who worked on and rode the machines, along with
the motorsports riders who helped to bring the
motorcycle industry into public view. Enthusiasts will have the
opportunity to take a look at the evolution of motorcycles and the
culture surrounding the bikes at this unique show.
"We wanted to get the 2013 date out with plenty of time for riders
to make plans," said Rob Dingman, AMA president. "AMA Vintage
Motorcycle Days is unique in the world of motorcycling in that all
makes and models of vintage bikes - and all riders - are celebrated
in a three-day event that brings out the best of motorcycling."
Other activities occurring during the festival include the AMA
Racing Vintage Grand Championships, which will have many different
kinds of motocross and road racing events, along with a swap meet,
stunt shows and demonstrations of bike prototypes. Several vendors
will also be on hand to showcase their gear and
creations to the masses.
