CBS To Air Motocross Of Nations

The 2012 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations is set to get
underway this weekend. The September 30 race will feature teams
from 22 countries across the globe competing for motocross
dominance in Lommel, Belgium.
The U.S. should be well represented at the event. According to
ESPN, 450cc motocross points leader Ryan Dungey
will anchor the American squad, joined by top riders Justin
Barcia and Blake
Baggett.
"This is a great team," Roger DeCoster, the team manager, told
ESPN. "They have proven that they are solid riders, especially in
the sand, and the Lommel track is a very deep sand track."
This race should be an exciting one for motorsports fans across the United
States, as the CBS Sports Network will air the event. The race will
be broadcast on the same day at 10 p.m. EST, according to
Youthstream, the promoters of the event. It's not often that these
races make it to national television, so this news should be
welcomed by racing enthusiasts.
Team USA has won the event 22 times, the most out of any nation.
The team will look to continue its success this weekend on the
Belgium track.
