Jackson, Mississippi, Hosts Annual Motorcycle Expo

The Great Southern Motorcycle Expo in Jackson, Mississippi, was
held over the weekend, and riders and motorcycle enthusiasts came
from around the region to check out the custom bikes, riding
showcases and motorcycle accessories. WLBT reports that along with
a "Wall of Death" and the Budweiser Clydesdales, the event hosted a
number of customized bikes that guests could check out up
close.
The 13th annual event also hosted a Police Skills Competition for
the boys in blue who patrol on two wheels, Fox40TV reports. There
were more than 70 vendors displaying their wares at the expo, so
riders were able to peruse the booths for the perfect motorcycle
accessories and parts.
Bill Bissell, the event promoter, told WLBT this year's gathering
was the biggest and best they've had in their 13 years. The
highlight of the weekend-long event was the customized bike
display. Riders from across five states brought along their custom
motorcycles to show off unique and intricate paint jobs as well as
mechanical and aesthetic customizations.
