Motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has been announced as the new sponsor of M1 Powersports' Big Kahuna Triple Crown, which consists of races at Road Atlanta, Homestead-Miami Speedway and NOLA Motorsports Park.
The motorsports promoter has put together three races in the Southeast this season, all of which will feature the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike, GoPro Daytona SportBike, Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport and the Vance & Hines XR1200 classes. Triumph has signed on to be the primary sponsors of the event, providing funds to hold additional off-track entertainment like stunt shows, family-friendly activities and much more.
"Racing is a great way for the motorcycle community to come together to celebrate our sport, and we're thrilled to be a part of the Big Kahuna Triple Crown," said Greg Heichelbech, CEO of Triumph Motorcycles North America. "We think race fans and motorcycle enthusiasts in general will enjoy Big Kahuna's combination of on-track racing and off-track entertainment, and we're looking forward to having a great time with customers at these events."
The Atlanta event is up first on the schedule, taking place April 20-22. The Miami and New Orleans events will be held in September and October, respectively.
