Injuries Force Two Riders Out Of AMA Supercross Series

Christian Craig and Will Hahn will have to watch most of the AMA Supercross series from the sidelines, as both riders have suffered injuries that will keep them out of most of the competition, reports Cycle News.

Craig has dealt with injuries his whole career, most notably a back injury suffered during a horrific crash that required emergency surgery. Last year, the rider hurt his wrist and was forced to miss most of the Motocross season.

It's now been learned that Craig's wrist hasn't healed properly, and he'll need to undergo more surgery to repair the damage. The rider will be out for most of the AMA Supercross series, but should be back on a bike in time for the Motocross season.

Meanwhile, GEICO Honda's Will Hahn broke his hip during a practice run shortly after the opening race at Anaheim. Doctors have told Hahn, who races in the Supercross Lites class, that he will be out for three to six weeks as the bone heals.

Like Craig, Hahn has also been prone to injury in his career, as he broke his back at nearly the same time last season and was forced to miss most of the competition.
