Michael Jordan Motorsports Bikes Put Up For Auction

Five bikes from Michael Jordan Motorsports' history will be going
up for auction January 12th-14th at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and
Casino during the Las Vegas Premiere Motorcycle Auction, reports
Cycle News.
"We're both honored and excited to have been entrusted with the
presentation of these select Michael Jordan Motorsports team bikes
for the first time at a public sale," Donnie Gould, president of
Auctions America by RM, told the news source. "Each represents an
important chapter in MJM's history and, in turn, presents an
exclusive ownership opportunity for savvy collectors."
The most sought-after bike in the collection will likely be a 2008
Suzuki GSX-R1000, which was used by Aaron Yates to win the 2008 AMA
Superstock Championship. This motorcycle also includes a signature
from the team owner, Michael Jordan.
Another GSX-R1000, this one ridden by Montez Stewart in 2005,
features custom graphics that celebrate the Air Jordan line of
shoes. Stewart's 2004 Yamaha R1 will also be up for sale. The
remaining two bikes were used by Jake Holden, and include two more
GSX-R1000s, from 2006 and 2007.
More than 400 bikes in total will be offered at the auction, but
these will likely draw the most interest from buyers.
