Ken Roczen Breaks His Arm

The
Red Bull KTM team has announced that Supercross rider
Ken Roczen broke his arm during a practice at the KTM test
track in California on Christmas day.
Roczen has already undergone surgery on the fractured arm and will
now focus on his recovery. The rider plans to be back on the track
in time for late February and the start of the Supercross Lites
competition.
"With the full support of the Red Bull/KTM Factory Team, Roczen is
expected to make a full and speedy recovery in time for the
commencement of the 2012 Supercross Lites East Championship
Series," the team said in a press release.
The 17-year-old rider from Germany had a strong season last year in
the FIM Motocross MX2 competition, where he won 19 races en route
to the championship. The victory gave KTM their fourth-consecutive
title in the series, after Tyla Rattray won in 2008 and Marvin
Musquin won in 2009 and 2010. Roczen placed second in the 2010
competition as well.
After signing with KTM last year, Roczen was only able to race a
few Supercross Lites races, so this will be his first full season
in the competition.
