Team Green Takes Twenty Titles At Mini-O's

Most people spend Thanksgiving at home with loved ones, sitting around a table and gobbling up turkey. Those in the amateur racing community spend it on the track.

The Unlimited Sports Winter National Olympics, more popularly known as the "Mini-O's," is the biggest event of the season for amateur bikers. The event is typically known for showcasing the stars of tomorrow, with plenty of champions translating their amateur success into professional careers.

The weeklong event features competitions in nearly every class and style that can be thought of, and each manufacturer typically fields at least one rider in every event. This year, it was Monster Energy Kawasaki, also known as "Team Green," coming out on top, with 20 championships racked up over the week.

Among the names riders can look forward to hearing on the pro track in the near future were Chase Bell and Justin Starling, who picked up three titles apiece.

"It was a great week for us in Florida," said Ryan Holliday, Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green supervisor. "This event brings our 2010 season to a close and we are looking forward to another successful year in 2011 with a new lineup of riders that will keep us up front."
