Arai DT-X Full Face Helmet

• Features the PB-cLc (Peripheral Belt-complex laminate construction) shell born from Arai's F-1 helmet technology
• Made from the layering of various proprietary materials, bonded with specifically developed adhesives
• The upper edge of the eye port is reinforced with the Peripheral belt which is custom woven in house at Arai using proprietary SuperFibers to increase strength and help direct impact energy laterally
• "Z mixture" resin increases the adhesions ability and strengthens the shell with less resin used, allowing for further weight reduction
• The DT-X utilizes Arai's proprietary multi-density one piece EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) liner, specifically tuned to each area of the helmet to maximize performance
• Antimicrobial interior is made with an odor reducing and dirt resisting material that helps keep PH levels balanced, helping the helmet stay fresher longer in between cleaning
• 5mm peel away temple pads if you find just a little too much pressure on your temples
• FCS cheek pad makes putting on and removing helmet easier while maintaining comfort around the lower jaw, and have 5mm peel away layer for custom micro-fitting
• Ear pockets have molded recesses for easier intercom speaker installation
• Shield mounting utilizes the Variable Axis System (VAS) pivot mechanism
• The VAS pivot cover is smaller and lower than previous design, yielding an average 24mm more area above the cover resulting in the shell being smoother in the temple area, increasing the helmet's ability to glance off objects during impact
• Dual flow ventilation system incorporates an intake and exhaust port creating a dual flow effect and is therefore aptly named the Dual Flow Duct
• Air enters the front of the duct and draws out hot exhaust air from the rear
• Intermediate oval head shape
• Keeping with the round and smooth egg shaped form, the Hyper ridge, along the lower edge of the shell increases shell strength and protection around the bottom opening managing energy migration laterally
• Meets or exceeds DOT and Snell M2015 certifications
